CHEMICAL PEELS

Resurface, brighten, and renew your skin with our range of medical-grade chemical peels – tailored to your skin type, concerns, and goals by our qualified professionals.

WHAT ARE CHEMICAL PEELS?

Chemical peels are medical-grade treatments that use carefully selected acids to exfoliate the outer layers of the skin, stimulating cell turnover and revealing fresher, smoother, more radiant skin underneath. At Momentum Medspa, we offer a range of peels – from gentle, hydrating options ideal for sensitive skin to more intensive resurfacing treatments for stubborn pigmentation and texture concerns. During your consultation, your provider will assess your skin type, concerns, and lifestyle to recommend the most appropriate peel and treatment plan for you.

OUR PEELS

RADIANT 30 PEEL

A gentle lactic acid peel ideal for first-time peel clients and those with dry or sensitive skin. Smooths texture, boosts hydration, and restores a healthy glow with minimal downtime.

Best for: Dryness, dullness, fine lines, mild uneven tone

BHA PEEL

Formulated with salicylic acid, this oil-soluble peel penetrates deep into the pores to dissolve excess sebum, clear congestion, and reduce breakouts – making it the go-to choice for oily and acne-prone skin.

Best for: Oily skin, blackheads, acne, enlarged pores

GLOW PEEL (HALF JESSNER)

A customizable half Jessner peel that targets hyperpigmentation, fine lines, acne, and uneven texture with more noticeable results than lighter peels, while still offering manageable downtime.

Best for: Sun damage, melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, acne scarring

POWER GLOW PEEL (FULL JESSNER)

Our most intensive peel, designed for clients ready for significant resurfacing. The full Jessner formulation delivers dramatic improvement in stubborn pigmentation, fine lines, acne scarring, and overall skin quality.

FAQ

During your consultation, your provider will assess your skin type, concerns, sensitivity, and lifestyle to recommend the most appropriate peel and treatment plan. The right peel depends on factors such as your skin tone, the concern being addressed, how much downtime you are comfortable with, and whether you have had chemical peels before.

This varies depending on the peel selected. Lighter peels such as the Radiant 30 or AHA Peel typically result in minimal flaking or dryness. Medium-depth peels like the Glow Peel and Power Glow Peel involve a more visible peeling phase that can last several days. Your provider will set clear expectations during your consultation.

Most of our peels involve minimal downtime, and many clients resume normal daily activities right away. More intensive peels may involve a few days of redness, tightness, and visible peeling. Your provider will advise you on what to expect based on the specific peel selected.

This depends on your skin concerns and the peel being used. Some clients see significant improvement after a single session, while others benefit from a series of 3–6 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Your provider will recommend a personalized plan during your consultation.

Regardless of the peel type, post-peel care is essential. Use a gentle cleanser and soothing moisturizer, avoid retinoids, scrubs, and strong active ingredients until advised by your provider, do not pick or peel any flaking skin, and apply broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher daily. Your provider will give you specific aftercare instructions tailored to the peel you received.

Yes – chemical peels pair well with treatments such as facials, microneedling, and other skin rejuvenation therapies as part of a comprehensive skincare plan. Your provider will recommend the safest and most effective combination and timing based on your skin’s needs.

Many of our peels are suitable for a wide range of skin types, but some – particularly more intensive options – require careful consideration for clients with sensitive skin or deeper skin tones due to the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. A thorough consultation is always performed to ensure the selected peel is safe and appropriate for you.
